Visit Sunset Beach (Koh Kradan)

Located on the western side of Koh Kradan, the small beach of Sunset Beach is not always known to travelers who come to the island. As its name suggests, it is the beach to watch the sunset. There is a small viewpoint overlooking it on the left.
A little isolated, Sunset Beach also often has fewer waves than the long main beach of Koh Kradan, which would make swimming more pleasant... if the many pieces of waste present at the bottom of the stairs leading there and at the top of the beach did not cool your ardor a little. It is really a shame that it is not cleaned frequently but quite logical given that it is a little isolated and especially without a hotel.
Practical information about Sunset Beach
The almost always present waste, and in quantity, on the beach, makes it a place, from my point of view, quite disappointing as a beach to swim and settle down to relax. And not recommended if accompanied by young children who would be tempted to play with the rubbish. But it's still nice to go there to see the sun set.
How to get to Sunset Beach ?
To go to Koh Kradan Sunset Beach, you have to take the path that starts between the kiosk collecting the entrance fee to the national park (to be paid as soon as you set foot on the island) and the Koh Kradan Beach Resort. Follow the signs Lost Paradise Resort and Sunset Beach. The beginning of the path in the forest that leads to the Lost Paradise Resort is quite flat and well cleared, it is also lit at night. After 5 minutes of walking, you will reach the Lost Paradise Resort, the path to the beach goes to its right. There, you will go deeper into the jungle with a more bumpy path but nothing trying. Especially since 5 minutes later, you will have arrived!
