Alternatively, you can privatize a longtail boat from the neighboring islands of Koh Muk (700THB) and Koh Ngai. You will pay a price per boat and not per passenger so if you are more than 2 persons it is generally cheaper and the longtail boat leaves at the time that suits you and can drop you right in front of your resort in Kradan when ferries and speedboats will only drop you in front of Kradan Beach Resort.

Koh Kradan is located on the ferry line and the speedboat lines from Phuket to Langkawi which pass in particular by Koh Lanta, Koh Ngai and Koh Lipe, it is easy to reach the neighboring islands but also Phuket, Lanta or Koh Lipe. Finally in high season, because in low season, they do not run and there are only private longtail boats which allow you to go to Pak Meng Pier (40 kilometers from Trang) or Koh Ngai and Koh Mook(see boat schedules HERE). For any other destination, a return to Trang will probably be necessary.
Otherwise, all year round, you can also privatize a longtail boat to reach the neighboring islands of Koh Muk and Koh Ngai or Pak Meng. From Pak Meng, provide your transport to Trang otherwise you will often pay more or even struggle to find one in low season. The Trang Wonders agency can take care of it.
