Things to do in Sukhothai
- Bicycle tours proposed by some guesthouses. A bit expensive as for us but there are several formulas.
- Loi Krathong Festival in October or November, it lasts several days and is a great sound and light show in the magnificent setting of Sukhothai Historical Park
- Spend the day with elephants at Boon Lotts Elephant Sanctuary (BLES) , one of the few elephant sanctuaries in Thailand where you can be 100% sure elephants are well treated. An unforgettable experience that will also help to protect this majestic animal.
- Go to Sukhothai Thani Walking Street a night market that takes place in a small street (Soi Sukhothai 1) located 3 minutes walk from Sukhtohai historical park main entrance. It takes place every Saturday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
