How to get to Wat Phanan Choeng ?

You can go to Wat Phanan Choeng by renting a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Ayutthaya city or from your hotel or guesthouse (theysometimes make them available to their customers for free) or hire a tuk-tuk just to go there or for a whole city tour for a price around 200 THB per hour. If by bicucle, try to have a map of the boats crossing the arms of the river (around 10 THB per passenger with a bike), it will save you detours. For this temple for instance, there is a ferry near the Ayutthaya River View Hotel. Otherwise, you can also rent a scooter at your hotel sometimes or in town but it will then not be possible to take this ferry and you will have to go all the way around.
