Visit Wat Maisupradittharam (Nakhon Pathom)
Presentation Wat Maisupradittharam
g_translate Thai name : วัดใหม่สุปดิษฐาราม
reviews My opinion:
starstarstar
Wat Maisupradittharam is located in Nakhon Chai Si District in Nakhon Pathom province about 45 minutes drive from Bangkok and 30 minutes from Nakhon Pathom. Neighbor of
Wat Klang Bang Kaew and its magnificent wihara with superb mural paintings, it is characterized by its golden color. The main buildings, the Buddhas, especially the reclining Buddha located outside, the 3-headed elephant statue, the roofs... everything is gilded.
Almost nothing remains of the first temple built on the site 4 centuries ago. It is today a new temple still partly under construction that welcomes you on the banks of the Tha Chin river with just before the river it a small artificial waterfall.
