Chiang Rai Rai Mae Fah Luang
This bucolic, cultural and artistic park as it defines itself located less than 1 kilometer from the Chiang Rai Beach is really a nice place to wander. You will find large trees, a lotus pond and old wooden houses and Lanna style pavilions without forgetting its very interesting cultural collections. Established in 1977 by the Princess Mother as a training camp for hill tribe youths designated to lead their communities in royal development projects, the place was later transformed into an art and cultural park to house Lanna art collections in his pavilions. There are three main buildings: Haw Kham (Golden Pavilion) which features ancient Lanna teak artifacts, Haw Kham Noi which houses ancient wall paintings and Haw Kaew which houses permanent and rotating exhibitions.
