Located in one of the main crossroads of Nan, Wat Sri Panton temple is visible from the street. Yopu can not miss the golden main building from the street. Wat Sri Panton is located a few minutes walk from the other monochrome temple in Nan, the all white Wat Ming Muang.
If its golden exterior made the reputation of Wat Si Pan Ton, the interior houses a beautiful mural surrounding a Sitting Buddha statue. The walls are painted from top to bottom with scenes depecting the story of Nan. In front of the temple, there is a shelter with one of the long boats used during the Nan River races at the end of Buddhist Lent.
