Visit Wat Singh (Kamphaeng Phet)
g_translate Thai name : วัดสิงห์
reviews My opinion:
starstarstar
In Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park Aranyik area, right next to Wat Phra Si Ariyabot, this temple is noted for its very eroded by time sitting Buddha but its silhouette is almost complete. We can even even see a little its facial features. Other smaller sculptures are reduced to silhouettes. At the back of Wat Singha, the niche in the remains of what must have been a chedi houses a carved Buddha image which also has lost its cover and its details.
Practical information about Wat Singh
Entrance fee for this part of the park: 100 THB or 150 if you take a ticket for the two areas.
You can rent bikes at the entrance for 30 THB. It is also possible to enter with a vehicle, including bicycles, for a fee of 10 to 50 THB depending on the vehicle.
How to get to Wat Singh ?
Personally, I came to this part of the park with a bicycle that I rented from a guesthouse but otherwise you can see to go there with a tuk-tuk. You can easily find some near the market.
