Visit Wat Ra Ngaeng (Surin)
Presentation Wat Ra Ngaeng
g_translate Thai name : วัดระแงง
reviews My opinion:
starstarstar
This small temple is in Sikhoraphum about 30 kilometers from Surin and can be added to the program of a visit of Prasat Sikhoraphum, the Khmer temple of the city. Opposite to train station on the other side of the track, its visit can be done very quickly and enables you to wait until your train arrives in a more interesting way that staying on the station platform. Its small ordination hall is very classical and almost closed all the time but what makes this temple interesting is the beautiful golden image of Buddha walking.
Of course, it does not worth to go to Sikhoraphum especially to see Wat Ra Ngaeng but if you are already here, why not go have a look?
