Visit Wat Phra Non (Chiang Rai)
Presentation Wat Phra Non
g_translate Thai name : วัดพระนอน
reviews My opinion:
starstarstar
Wat Phra Non is not in every guide book about Chiang Rai or Thailand. Its name, literally translated, means the Temple of the Reclining Buddha and features a large Buddha image nearly fully reclined on its back. This is more its very photogenic red brick porch than its long Reclining Buddha which we enjoyed the most there. In front of the building housing the Buddha there is a chedi similar to the one in
Wat Jed Yod but smaller.

How to get to Wat Phra Non ?
A little more outskirt, Wat Phra Non in Chiang Rai can also be reached by walking (I walked there from the city center) but it's not close by so you'd better hire a tuk-tuk.
