The Wat Pho Non Than temple is also near Khon Kaen's lake. It's not the most interesting temple in the city but one of its buildings with its animal and floral frescoes painted reliefs and its small park at the rear a temple in the background make it a temple a little bit different to the other temples in Khon Kaen.
Wat Pho Non Than Not also hosts a renowned meditation center.
