Wat Namtok Thammarot temple is located in the north of Rayong province in Wang Chan district. Built in 1983, it owes its name to the nearby waterfall. The main and unmissable element is its ordination hall on stilts, predominantly pink, installed on a pond. Its architecture is truly unique.

The more forested part of the temple is also interesting with a lot of statues and elements scattered around, the only problem is the stray dogs that welcome you quite hostilely. So for my part, I quickly turned back. But no problem with the stray dogs to go see the ordination hall on the small pond which remains the main reason for visiting this temple.
