reviews My opinion:
starstarstarstar
You can see the white prang of Wat Mahathat Worawihan from far away. It is often the element that is used to find your way when you do not know the city well. In fact, the temple consists in five laterite prangs with a higher one in the middle which is 42 meters high and houses Buddha relics. Around the prangs there are a few halls with stucco reliefs. The temple also houses a Buddha image venerated by the people of Phetchaburi, Wat Mahathat the Luangpo.
We only have night shots of Wat Mahathat Worawihan because our time was in Phetchaburi was counted but it is obviously more interesting to visit it by day even if the lighthing in the evening is nice.
