Visit Wat Khunaram (Koh Samui)
Presentation Wat Khunaram
g_translate Thai name : วัดคุณาราม
reviews My opinion:
starstarstar
This temple is famous for its monk Luong Pordaeng, mummified in a meditation position with his sunglasses. It is incredibly well preserved especially when you know that he died in 1973. Otherwise, the architecture of the temple has nothing extraordinary. Like all temples in Koh Samui, it is pretty basic and classic even if the wihaan on the left of the building housing the monk is nicely decorated.
