Prachuap Khiri Khan Wat Ao Noi
Located, as its name suggests, in Ao Noi Bay, 8 kilometers from Prachuap Khiri Khan city center, Wat Ao Noi sits at the foot of an hill in which the Khan Kradai Cave which is often called Wat Ao Noi Cave and which contains 2 reclining Buddha images. The small carved wooden wiharn of the temple framed by two Naga snakes images is really beautiful. Its interior walls are covered with wooden relief murals painted that tell Buddhist stories and tales. I have for years associated the neighboring cave with the temple and on site it is referred to as Wat Ao Noi Cave but it can be found on GoogleMaps under the name of Khan Kra Dai Cave, so I created a dedicated page under this name even if when asking for your way I recommend you to say Wat Ao Noi Cave if you want to get answers ;).

How to get to Wat Ao Noi ?

The best way to travel the 8 kilometers that separate Wat Ao Noi from downtown Prachuap Khiri Khan is probably to rent a bike in one of the rental shops on the seafront (if your guesthouse or hotel does not put one at your disposition). It costs 50 THB per day. Otherwise, rent a scooter (need motorcycle driving license + international driving license), car or hire tuk-tuk.
