On the way to Big Buddha, you will pass the Wang Sam Sien, on the left of the road. A white statue of Guanyin the Chinese Goddess of Mercy welcome will welcome you in a setting like a park with some historical figures of Chinese folklore. The sanctuary also has a large metal bell like the one in the Royal Palace in Beijing, China.
A wall with 24 beautiful paintings tells 24 stories of gratitude. It is a peaceful and pleasant place to relax. If you are hungry there is a small restaurant behind the statue of Guanyin.
