Visit Udon Sunshine Orchid Garden (Udon Thani)

This orchid-growing garden is 2 kilometers away from Udon Thani city. Its owner has created several hybrid varieties including the 'Miss Udorn Sunshine' which has been registered with copyrights by the Wolrd Orchid Society. A nice accomplishment when you know that it takes 10 years for a hybrid species to be recognized and registered.

The curiosity here is the plants dancing in rhythm when they listen to music. Personally, I was quite skeptical during the demonstration but maybe I did not came the best day (there was wind). Not the most unmissable visit of Udon Thani unless you like flowers but still intresting.
