Visit Singha Park (Chiang Rai)

No, no, this is not a large park where fresh Singha beer bottles hang from the trees as far as your eyes can see. This is another drink that is here in the spotlight. Singha Park also known under its former name, Boon Rawd Farm, is essentially composed of tea plantations. Opened in December 2012, it offers, in addition to its beautiful sceneries of oolong tea plants perfectly arranged and cut, various activities and places like a small zoo (you know I'm not a fan of such places), a farm, a vegetable and fruit garden, a zippeline...

Even if there is a little tram to take you discover the park, the most pleasant way to go through the Singha Park is to rent a bicycle near the zippeline tower. Riding a bicycle here is quite popular with locals on weekends. You can even rent tandems or kid bikes. It is also at the bike rental shop that you have to go to buy tickets and receive the equipment for the zippeline.
