Nong Khai Old Train Station
The current Nong Khai railway station opened in May 2000. Previously, the city's railway station was here. The place was never destroyed and was even transformed into a small museum. The old Nong Khai station also hosts a small market every Sunday from 9:30 a.m. Not the largest or most essential in Nong Khai but a nice place with a slightly retro atmosphere which has been nicknamed the Talat Rod Fai Nong Khai (railway market) and which found under the name Rail Market on GoogleMap.

I still have the impression that the place is losing momentum. In any case, on days without a market, it is somewhat abandoned to stray dogs who are not very welcoming, which makes its visit sometimes complicated or even impossible.
