Visit Phra Nang Beach (Railay)

Phra Nang Beach, for me, is the most beautiful beach in Railay, in the enchanting province of Krabi, in the south of Thailand. Between limestone cliffs and peaks rising from the sea, with fine white sand and turquoise waters, we are clearly in a postcard setting!

Phra Nang Beach is famous for being one of the main attractions on day boat trips from Krabi and Ao Nang, especially on the popular 4 Islands Tour. What makes Phra Nang Beach interesting are also its two mystical shrines nestled along the beach in small caves. These shrines, steeped in legend and mystery and featuring phallic symbols, add a touch of intrigue and fascination. The curious will be able to discover their captivating history and their unique artifacts, immortalized through photos that sometimes defy the rules of censorship on social networks.

The beach is also interesting for watching the sunset although it does not face directly. We also must mention the famous restaurant The Grotto, very popular with Instagrammers for its setting and its unique view! Unfortunately, without being a customer of the Rayavadee hotel, it is quite complicated to get a table there.
