Visit Kung Krabaen Bay Royal Development Study Center (Chanthaburi)

I have to tell you right away, this is one of my big favorites in Chanthaburi. Located about thirty kilometers west of Chanthaburi, the Royal Study Center on the development of Kung Krabaen Bay covers a large area of about 4,000 Rai partially covered with a mangrove forest that you can walk on raised board paths. There are many small pavilions and panels at regular intervals with information on the mangrove forest, the types of fauna and flora. There is also a high bird watching tower near the seaside because yes, at some point the mangroves stop and before you stretches the open sea and the bay.

What's cool here is renting a kayak and exploring the small canals through the mangroves and then reaching the sea. After you can also go visit the Sea Farming Demonstration Unit one kilometer further.
