The island, still relatively unknown despite its proximity to the port of Tong Sala, is only accessible by private boat or canoe, thus guaranteeing a peaceful atmosphere, far from the tourist hustle and bustle. Its sandbank and its small artificial square lake as well as the natural arch of its rocky face make it a popular kayaking excursion destination in Koh Phangan. especially at sunset.
Surrounded by coral reefs rich in marine life, Koh Tae Nai is also a good spot to observe the seabed, whether by diving or just snorkeling in its artificial reef.
