There are some interesting day tours to do in Lampang province. I recommend the one that takes you to the amazing hill temple Wat Chalerm Prakiat and the hot springs a little further. The morning excursion to see the sun rising over the magnificent panorama offered by Wat Phra That Doi Prachan temple, also known for its large Japanese-style Buddha, is one of my favorite experiences in Lampang . See the sunrise at hill temple Wat Doi Prachan
We will take off a bit early (05:00AM-05:30AM) in the morning and to get to Doi Prachan Temple and catch the stunning scene of sunrise, fresh air, are exquisite view of Mae Tha valley. Get surprised by themix of culture represeted by the Temple buiding and the Giantic Buddha statue built in Japanese stye. Then head to have breakfast at the Mon-Doi Cafe.
