Departure from your hotel in Kanchanaburi city at 8 a.m. or departure from your hotel in Bangkok or Ayutthaya at 6 a.m.
You will not start with the Erawan waterfalls. Located in Erawan National Park, they are one of the jewels of Thailand. Their name refers to the mythological elephant Erawan. One of its names means 'he who weaves or binds the clouds', because the myth states that these elephants are capable of producing clouds. You will travel through the 7 levels of the waterfalls through the jungle, can swim there and enjoy this exceptional setting.
You will have lunch in a local restaurant
Then you will head towards the Tham Krasae railway station and the Wang Pho viaduct where the railway passes over a long footbridge clinging to the mountainside. Before boarding the train towards Kanchanaburi. Arrival at the River Kwai Bridge (expected at 5:32 p.m.)
Kayak on the river or short cruise on a long tail boat and arrive under the Kwai Yai River Bridge.
Possibility of having a French-speaking guide to book in advance, or even very well in advance if the trip is planned for February, the busiest month.
