All information & tips to prepare your trip in Thailand
You will be picked up from your guesthouse or hotel in Chiang Mai then taken to the mountains to the Karen family who takes care of these elephants.
On your arrival, you will put on a Karen outfit then go to meet the elephants/
You will take a walk alongside them (you will not ride on their backs, here, that's the rule !) in the forest then to the camp.
You will prepare food for them with some nutrients and elements good for their health that you will give them.
Then you will take the elephants to bathe in the pond..
Finally, you will have lunch there before returning to Chiang Rai and being dropped off at your hotel or guesthouse. Visiting this place provides them with important support to ensure that their elephants do not go back for walks with baskets and tourists on their backs in the surrounding camps and that they can continue to live a more peaceful and free life. suffering.2.500 THB per person (includes pickup and lunch)
