All information & tips to prepare your trip in Thailand
Departure:
Meet your guide in your hotel lobby at 9am. Departure for Ayutthaya, located about an hour from Bangkok.
Visit Wat Phu Khao Thong, or the Golden Mountain Temple, located just outside Ayutthaya.
Continue towards the old palace and Wat Phra Si Sanphet and its 3 chedis, then stop at Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit, where you can admire one of the largest bronze Buddhas in Thailand.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, depart for Lopburi province, one of the oldest cities in the country, about an hour's drive away. Discover how this city, which was historically part of the great Khmer Empire, was briefly the capital of the Kingdom of Ayutthaya.
The main tourist attraction in Lopburi is Phra Prang Sam Yod, nicknamed Monkey Temple. Observe the playful macaques that live around the temple and nearby streets. They literally took over the place.
After saying goodbye to the monkeys, return to your hotel in Bangkok.
