Tour 2 days / 1 night on a floating hotel to discover Khao Sok Lake and more

Day 1

You will be picked up from your hotel near Khao Sok lake (Chiew Lan lake) at 8am.

You will meet your guide who will tell you the history of the lake and the region and take you to the Ratchaprapa Dam pier to take a traditional private longtail boat.

You will sail for an hour on the lake and admire its magnificent landscapes. Without forgetting to make a stop at the 3 most emblematic rocks of Khao Sok Lake, the Rocks of the 3 Brothers.

You will dock for a hike in the jungle during which your guide will introduce you to the flora of this tropical forest which is one of the oldest in the world.

You will walk 45 minutes to a lagoon. There, you will take a bamboo raft to cross it and visit a magnificent cave.

Return to the boat then sail to your floating bungalows on the lake for lunch and take possession of your rooms.

You can relax, swim and kayak.

Around 4 p.m., you will take the boat back along the banks to discover the wildlife (with luck and a good guide, you may be able to spot wild elephants) while enjoying cold drinks.

After this safari, return to your floating hotel, you will take the opportunity to prepare for dinner and eat it.

Night on the lake (different levels of comfort, see the paragraph on prices)

Day 2

In the early morning, you will wake up in this exceptional setting and hear the cries of the gibbons.

Then you will take the boat for the morning safari.

Coffee and tea will be available on the boat. Safari duration: 2 hours.

Then return to the floating hotel for breakfast, relax and still enjoy the setting for swimming or kayaking.

Departure at 9:30 a.m. to visit the superb landscapes of the lake and stop in a magnificent place for swimming.

Navigation to the pier.

A minibus will be waiting for you to take you to visit the local market. You can have lunch at a local restaurant.

Return to your hotel.

Included in the price

Pick up, transport and return to your hotel near the lake, rental of the private traditional boat with captain to sail on the lake, English-speaking guide, entrance tickets to the National Park, lunch and dinner for day 1 , breakfast and lunch of day 2.

Pick up possible from Ao Nang/Krabi, Phuket, Khao Lak, Surat Thani, Donsak Pier with a supplement which will depend on the distance and number of passengers.
