Your Travel Guide to Thailand
All information & tips to prepare your trip in Thailand
The Yasothon Rocket Festival is the highlight of the year in the province. Celebrated during the rice planting season, this traditional festival sees local teams compete by building and launching giant rockets into the sky. For those seeking nature getaways, the surrounding area of Yasothon offers hiking, cycling and bird watching opportunities. Lush green rice fields, traditional villages and scenic viewpoints of the surrounding countryside provide a calming contrast to the hustle and bustle of city life.
