The town of Trat has little tourist attraction. There are two main reasons attracting travelers in the Trat province: go by land to Cambodia or go to Koh Chang ( literally Elephant Island ) which is after Phuket, the second largest island in Thailand or go to surrounding islands ( Koh Mak, Koh Kood, Koh Wai ...). Close to the large island of Koh Chang in Trat Province, Koh Kood is still preserved from mass tourism. Here, you will find yourself in a almost untouched nature, with a few resorts and some shops and restaurants. There's no jet ski or other water sports, no elephant rides on Koh Kood.
