Your Travel Guide to Thailand
All information & tips to prepare your trip in Thailand
Located in the very north of Thailand, on the border with Myanmar (formerly Burma), the province of Mae Hong Son is made up of a large city and remote mountains with small villages. It is an enchanting destination that woos with its unspoiled natural beauty, authentic tribal villages, peaceful ambiance and freshness. Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu, perched on a hill overlooking the city, offers panoramic views with, at times, a sea of mist. In town, we note the lake and its two pagodas on the edge and the night market which is taking place. Mae Hong Son also often has a sea of mist which gives it a little mys...

Its valley with its often foggy landscapes of mountains, rice fields and the surrounding nature are its main assets. It is also the starting point for treks to meet the hill tribes, or simply the lush nature. It is a place for relaxation for lovers of nature and authenticity....
