How to buy your flight tickets to Thailand cheaper ?

According to studies led by several flight tickets comparators, there best moment to book your tickets and get the best price is two months before departure. Of course, this ignores the many promotions that airlines have all year long. Also according to this studies, you pay less if you take off on a Tuesday morning and Saturday is often more expensive. Similarly, departures between 6 pm and midnight are cheaper in general. The cheapest moment to go to Thailand is week 36 but this is also the moment when the rainy season is the most intense.

The best way to pay the best price is to follow the promotions, to be flexible in your trip dates and to create mail alerts on price comparison websites three months before departure.

Airlines offering flights to Thailand with one stopover

Choose flights with a reasonable stopover duration (1:30 to 2:30). If you fly toThailand with stopovers, the choice of airlines is much wider. There are amny options, Gulf airlines, Royal Jordanian, China East Air China, Air India, Austrian Airlines, Jet Airways and Aeroflot to only name some of them. So how to choose among all these companies ?

Low cost airlines

Most of the time China East offers the cheapest fares for flights to Thailand. Air India is a little more expensive, then comes Air China. Ukraine International Airlines also offers cheap plane tickets to Thailand (but the stopover in Kiev is not necessarily reassuring right now). There are other low-cost airlines that I have not tested yet.

The other airlines

According to my own my experience and the survey we conducted, the Gulf airlines are those that are most appreciated by travelers to Thailand. Their favorite airline with stopover is Qatar Airways, which is generally the company offering the most attractive prices. Then comes Emirates, Etihad and Oman Air. I tested all of these airlines and for me, they are no big diffreneces, all are good. So the ticket price will probably guide your choice.
