This traditional Thai long boat race consists of boats of 3 types: large boats with 55 rowers, medium boats with 40 rowers and small boats of 30 rowers. In addition to the race, you can also watch the trophy parade, a replica of the royal boat, an elephant parade (the black spot of this festival but the elephant shows are unfortunately unavoidable in Surin), artistic and cultural shows or stands to buy Surin specialties and OTOP products.
