This Kalasin Rocket Festival (Bun Bang Fai in Thai) does not take place in the city of Kalasin itself but in the district of Kuchinarai about fifteen kilometers. The event lasts several days with parade and dance on Saturday afternoon and Sunday at 8am, the launch of the rockets.
