Not to be confused with the Chiang Mai Flower Festival held on the first weekend of February, an older, more traditional event that takes place in the city with a grand parade, the Charming Chiang Mai Flower Festival takes place in Chiang Mai's Chaloem Phrakiat Park, a park of the Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization.It features an exceptional exhibition of flowers and ornamental plants, including tropical varieties, species adapted to cold climates, as well as rare orchids. You can also admire artistic sculptures inspired by the unique Lanna aesthetic, sublimated by magical illuminations that transform the garden into a true nocturnal paradise. The festival has become grandiose from year to year.
Every evening, there is a musical fountain show, mixing lights, sounds and colors, with four daily performances starting at 7:00 p.m.
