Information about Bangkok annual Red Cross Fair

The annual Thai Red Cross Festival will be held this year from December 11 to 22 at Lumphini Park in Bangkok, offering 12 days and 12 nights of activities for young and old, from 11am to 11pm.

This iconic event, established 101 years ago during the reign of King Vajiravudh (Rama VI), is a must-see event for locals and visitors alike. On the program:

  • stands of specially priced products,
  • games,
  • raffles,
  • and exhibitions highlighting royal projects, in tribute to the 72nd birthday of His Majesty the King.

All profits will be donated to the Thai Red Cross to support its work for the most disadvantaged.

The official opening will be presided over by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on December 11.

Easy access to Lumphini Park

The festival is easily accessible by public transport:

  • BTS: Sala Daeng station (exit 6).
  • MRT: Lumpini station (exit 3).
  • Bus: lines 4, 13, 45, 47, 50, 62, 74, 76, 77, 141, 504, 505, 514, 547, and A3.
