Every year, for the 4 most important Buddhist festivals including Asanha Bucha, the Wat Tha Khanun Temple which is located a 2 hour drive from Kanchanaburi, organizes a special ceremony. The highlight is the Buddhas and Buddhist symbols drawn with candles arranged on the courtyard of the temple. Seen from the top of the stairs that lead up to the upper part, it's so beautiful!
