- Eat at the little night market which is held every evening from 5 pm near Phatthalung railway station. There mainly are food stalls and small street restaurants.
- Take a boat tour at dawn From Pak Pra on the large lake nearby Thale Noi then continue on the Thale Noi. A very photogenic trip !
- Eat at Kaeng Nam Hu Rae installed in one of its small huts on stilts on the course of the river, if you go to visit Khao Chaison area. Children can play in the water and it is also possible to rent kayaks. Really a nice break in a typical Thai restaurant ! Be careful though, at the peak of the rainy season (November-December) the water may be dirty and it may be dangerous or closed.
