Other visits suggestions in Kamphaeng Phet

  • Kamphaeng Phet National Museum
which houses objects and statues found in the region (open Wednesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 16:00 - Tel: 055 711 570) and the Provincialal Museum next to it. In traditional teak houses, it offers exhibitions and screenings of the hilltribes of the region and is often more popular with visitors than the National Museum and open every day (9:00 - 16:00 - Tel: 055 722 341)
  • The City Pillar Shrine
Highly revered, it is not so interesting to see but by going from a area of the Historical park to another you will surely see it
  • Khlong Lan National Park
65 km from Kamphaeng Phet, it has many waterfalls. We can sleep here in bungalows with fan (information: on its website - Tel: 055 766 425)
  • Ancient City of Nakhon Chum
a few kilometers from Kamphaeng Phet, interesting for its few fortification walls and its many temples usually with not a lot of remains. There is accommodation if needed.
  • Phra Ruang Hot Spring
13 km from the city, these waterfalls have a temperature of 40 to 65 degrees. There are some facilities for bathing
  • Mae Wong National Park
Another National Park, on the border between the provinces of Nakhon Sawan and Kamphaeng Phet. Waterfalls, lush nature, you can also see some wild elephants, tigers, antelopes, deer and countless species of birds
