Transport to go to Trat / leave Trat

To go to Trat ?

There is an airport in Trat. Two flights per day from Bangkok. But in general, travelers go to Trat by taking the bus at Ekkamai Bus Terminal in Bangkok or by taking a minivan (online booking). There is a Trat Express bus but it is more comfortable but not really faster than other buses.

Leave Trat ?

In general, travelers who goes to Trat are just in transit before going to Koh Chang and the surrounding islands (Koh Kood, Koh Mak, Koh Wai ..) or crossing the border and go to Cambodia. For the islands, ferries leave from Laem Ngop. For Cambodia, you must go through a travel agency or a guesthouse which also is travel agency. They will sell you trips by bus to Sihanoukville or Phnom Penh (visa fee not included)
