Where to celebrate Loy Krathong in Bangkok ?
I know, I write a lot of articles about Loy Krathong lately but I love this festival and want to give you the most information possible to enjoy it. For those who will be in the Thai capital on November 25, here are all the information to celebrate Loy Krathong in Bangkok this year.

Where Loy Krathong celebration take place in Bangkok?
Nakarapirom Park
In Bangkok, Chao Phraya River is the center of Loy Krathong celebration. The biggest celebration will be held at Nakarapirom Park from 23 to 25 November and especially on the last day which is the Loy Krathong exact date. During the three days, there will be fun activities and Thai cultural shows, booths selling Thai cultural products … and on November 25 evening, a procession of illuminated boats will leave from the Krung Thep Bridge passing Rama 8 bridge and finish at Nakarapirom Park.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) indicated the following six locations as main places hosting Loy Krathong events in Bangkok :
1. Krung Kasem Canal Phadung
2. Rama VIII Bridge
3. Rama IX Bridge
4. Santi Chaiprakarn Park
5. Lumpini Park
6. Nawamin Pirom Park
Bangkok The River Festival 2015
This event will take place from 21 to 25 November and is intended to raise awareness of the Thai traditions practiced along the river of Kings. Much of Thai history can be traced along its banks. The locations where the festival will take place are:
1. Wat Pho or the Temple of the Reclining Buddha
2. Wat Arun
3. Wat Kalayanamitr
4. Wat Prayurawongsawas (Wat Prayoon)
5. Asiatique The Riverfront
6. Tha Maharaj
7. Yodpiman River Walk
There will be free shuttle boats between each of these locations.

The hotels along the river will unite their efforts to offer you a large fireworks on the Chao Phraya river starting at 10 p.m. on 25 November.
Another good way to enjoy Loy Krathong in Bangkok is to go for a dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River to see the lights, enjoy the festivities while having a good meal or enjoying a buffet.
