New procedure for Thai to get visa to the Schengen area

Based on the new joint guidelines to all members of the Schengen area, the Embassy of France in Bangkok and embassies of others Schengen countries will introduce a new procedure for visa from November 14, 2013, issuing only biometric visas for all types of stay.

From that date, the personal presence of each applicant will be required when submitting a visa application, so that his biometric data can be collected (photograph and ten fingerprints).
