Steam Train from Bangkok to Ayutthaya

Tickets for a round Bangkok – Ayutthaya cost 222 baht per person. The price also includes snacks on board. As usual, the 500 tickets available  will be sold quickly, very quickly. But even without a ticket, a ride to Hua Lamphong to see the departure of the steam train may be interesting. Ideally, we should be able to do both, see the train leave the station and be on board. But i is impossible…

If you do not manage to get a ticket, the next steam train trip will take place for the king’s birthday on December 5, 2013. You will also have the opportunity to travel on the steam train on March 26 and August 12, next year. Or, on 23th October 2014 for Chulalongkorn Day again. Advance booking is mandatory…
