Koh Poda and Maya Bay among the 40 most beautiful beaches on earth
Thailand’s beaches are very popular, it must be said that many of them, with their light blue waters and white sand are real postcards material. The Huffington Post in partnership with Minube.net made a small survey to determine the 40 most beautiful beaches in the world. There are two Thai beaches in the list.
Koh Poda in Krabi province, 8 km from Ao Nang, ranked 7th. Rocks planted in the sea, long-tail boats and crystal waters of Ko Poda have made the island a real tropical paradise. The abundance of rocks, reefs and fish provide underwater views at least as amazing as the landscape around the beach.
Maya Bay Beach in Koh Phi Phi, became famous with Leonardo Di Caprio and the film “The Beach”. It 11th in this ranking. Although Maya Bay has experienced a tourist boom in recent years, visitors coming for the off-season or getting up early in the morning still can find the prestine beach we liked in the movie.
