Thailand: a day at high risk tomorrow
Rallies and anti- gouvernementauxles protests continue in Bangkok and some suburbs and provinces. Some were violent and have caused many victims.
The Thai government declared a state of emergency for sixty days from 22 January in Bangkok and in the provinces of Nonthaburi, Samut Prakan of ( Bang Phli district ) and Pathum Thani ( Lat Lum Kaeo district ) . For now, no curfew is in force .
The opposition continues its manifestations and maintains its dams certain crossroads in the center of the city, and impedes access to some administrative buildings. It is very likely that it also prevents access to polling elections scheduled this Sunday, February 2nd . These attempts to block polls are likely to lead to violence .
For your safety, it is strongly advised to avoid all demonstrations and gathering , especially near polling stations.

the intersection of Uruphong (ministerial district )
Silom (where the Central Silom shopping mall – Rama IV)
the intersection of Phaya Thai ( MBK shopping center )

Siam Square ( Siam Square – Rama I , close to shopping malls Siam Paragon , Central World and MBK )
the crossroads of Lat Prao ( especially near Chatuchak market )
Lumpini Park ,
Asok crossroads (where the mall Terminal 21)
Ratchadamnoen Avenue (ministerial district ) .
b) Public transport (bus, subway and BTS ) and airports work. It should nevertheless be taken into account probable traffic problems and therefore anticipate any movement in the city , especially to the airports , by arranging a comfortable margin.
c) To provide assistance to tourists , the Thai government has put in place :
two telephone numbers (1155 and 1672 ) to answer questions from tourists ;
information centers at the National Stadium Hua Mak, Bangkok airport ( Suvarnabhumi and Don Muang ) in the main stations of sky train (BTS Siam , Phaya Thai, Ekkamai , Wongwienyai ) in the underground MRT station Hua Lamphong ;
emergency , shuttles between airports in downtown Bangkok with collection points at hotels ” Eastin Grand Sathorn ,” ” Windsor Suites Sukhumvit ” and ” Twin Towers “;
increased frequency of trains connecting the Don Muang airport and the city center as well as the ” Airport Link ” between Suvarnabhumi Airport and downtown Skytrain.
d) Due to the blocking of the Thai administration offices , the offices of the Immigration and legalization were transferred to the following addresses :
