BTS service in Bangkok extended on New Year Eve

The operator of BTS skytrain in Bangkok announced that on the evening of New Year’s Eve, the service will be extended until 2am (1 January 2014) to facilitate revelers partaking in countdown festivities around Bangkok.

The operator will also prepare Single Journey Tickets for passengers in advance in a bid to save commute time during the New Year period. The tickets will be available at Phayathai, Siam, Victory Monument and Asoke stations.

The BTSC will provide the One-Day Pass priced at 130 baht to facilitate passengers. The pass which will offer unlimited trips in one day can be purchased during December 31st, 2013 from 06:00 a.m. until 02:00 a.m. on January 1st, 2014.
