Schedule of Chiang Mai Flower Festival 2018
This weekend will take place the famous Chiang Mai Flower Festival, one of the most important festival n city. Here is the schedule of the highlighf thets o event. It starts on Friday, February 2, 2018 and lasts until the end of the weekend.
Chiang Mai Flower Festival’s schedule
The big parade
The most important day of the Chiang Mai Flower Festival is Saturday with the big parade of flower floats accompanied by dancers, musicians ect …
It will leave at 8am from the Nawarat Bridge (well, in fact, because of its length, it starts from the railway station but dancers and musicians often only start their performance when arriving at the bridge).
On Nawarat bridge, tribunes will be installed but I do not necessarily advise you to take place there since as for me iti is better to move with the parade to really enjoy it …
The parade then will go in Thapae Road to the Thapae Gate before finishing its course near the Nong Buak Haad Park.
Chiang Mai Flower Festival highlights
Here is the program of the main events of the 42nd Chiang Mai Flower Festival 2018 which will unfold from 2 to February 2018.
The Tourist Authority of Thailand who just sent it to me, it is not yet the official program, there will just probably other organized events but in this program you have the most important, which makes the essence even of this festival. And I will complete this article, if ever a more detailed official program comes out by Friday.
Events that will take place every day (2-4 February 2018)

It’s not part of the festival as it takes place every weekend but do not miss the Saturday Walking Street on Saturday night with a tour at the Silver Temple which organizes several ceremonies that night and the Sunday Walking Street the next day.
