To celebrate Thai Heritage Conservation Day, admission to Thailand’s national museums and historic parks will be free on Sunday, April 2 for Thai and tourists.
Thailand Historical Parks free tomorrow
Entry fees from Thailand’s 10 national historic parks will be lifted on Sunday. Good news even if the entry usually only costs a hundred baht for a foreign visitor.
The most famous historical parks in Thailand are: Sukhothai, Ayutthaya, Kamphaeng Phet and Sri Satchanalai. On Sunday, they should also see a rise in attendance.

- Phanom Rung Historical Park (Khmer temple in the province of Buriram)

Other events for this day
This free historical parks and national museums marks the beginning of a week of events, such as “The Story of Mahajanaka”, a traditional piece based on a literary work of the late King Bhumibol, adapted from the 10 Buddha lives. It will be presented with other traditional shows every day at 5:00 pm at the National Theater from Tuesday to April 8.
Events will also be held in Sdok Kok Thom in Sa Kaeo Province, Wiang Kum Kam in Chiang Mai Province, Muang Fa Daet Song Yang in Kalasin Province and Wat Khao Khu Ha in Songkhla Province.
