Thailand Historical Parks and National Museums free until Januray 31

It was announced by TheFine-Arts Department , two days ago to pay tribute to the late King and will apply until 31 January.
Free admission to Thailand Historical Parks
Admission to the 10 national historical parks in Thailand will be free for both Thai and foreigners visitors until the end of January 2017.
The most famous historical parks in Thailand are in : Sukhothai, Ayutthaya, Kamphaneg Phet and Sri Satchanalai.
Here is the complete list of historical parks in Thailand :
- Sukhothai Historical Park
- Ayutthaya
- Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park
- Sri Satchanalai Historical Park
- Phanom Rung Historical Park (Khmer temple in Buriram province)
- Phimai Temple (Khmer temple near Korat)
- Phra Nakhon Khiri (Phetchaburi)
- Muang Sing (Kanchanaburi)
- Phu Pra Bat (Udon Thani)
- Si Thep (Phetchabun)
Free admission to all theseplaces but the fees for vehicles including bicycles remain.
Free admission to Thailand national museums
Similarly, you will not have to pay entry ticket to visit all national museums in the country until 31 January.

It will not save you big money, the prices of historic parks or museums are not exceeding 100 baht in general but it is always interesting and a good opportunity to discover the thai museums.
