New low cost flights from Germany to Thailand
We talked about it here a few months ago, it will start in 2 days : the low-cost airline Eurowings, a subsidiary of Lufthansa, launches direct low-cost flights to Thailand from Germany.
Direct flights to Bangkok and Phuket depart from Cologne-Bonn airport.
The first flight of Eurowings to Thailand will leave Cologne for Phuket next Friday and its first flight from Cologne to Suvarnabhumi (Bangkok) will depart next Monday.
Then the flights from Cologne-Bonn to Bangkok will take off at 6:25 am every Monday and at 9:20 am every Thursday, while flights to Phuketwill depart at 2:05 pm every Tuesday and 6:35 am every Saturday.
It remains to find an economical way to join the German airport. Knowing that for the lowest price, the “basic” formula, little is included (for details see the company’s website).
Besides Germany, Eurowings also offers flights from Zurich to Bangkok, take-off at 08:45 every Wednesday, and flights to Phuket, every Friday at 8:45 (stopover in Cologne-Bonn).
Prices are very disparate deoending on the dates and availability. And to be honest, the tickets are not that much cheaper than prices offered by non low-cost airlines like Qatar, Oman Air, Emirates during their promotions on Thailand flights (but it is not direct flights).
Otherwise, you can always find flight tickets to Thailand at the best prices using our Thailand flight comparison engine (see top menu) or follow us on Facebook where we share all that we find interesting promotions.
