Bangkok Royal Orchid Paradise

The 7th Siam Paragon Bangkok Royal Orchid Paradise 2013, 6 to 12 June 2013, will be held at the Hall of Fame (M floor) Siam Paragon. The theme of this 7th edition is ‘Amazing Orchids of the Nation’ in honour of Thailand’s Her Majesty the Queen’s 81st Birthday Anniversary. The event is staged in cooperation with the Thai Ministry of Agricultural and Cooperatives, Department of Agricultural Extension, Department of Agriculture, Horticultural Science Society of Thailand, Royal Horticulture Society of Thailand. Admission is free. International orchid agriculturists are convening to compete for a royal trophy and prizes.

This year’s orchid exhibition features nine species and 120 types : Vanda and Ascocenda; Cattleya; Oncidium and Cymbidium; Paphiopedilum; Phalaenopsis; Renanthera, Aragnis, Mokara; genuine orchid; orchid hybrid competing for HRH Princess Sirindhorn Trophy, cash prizes, and certificates. There will also be mythical creatures made of orchids and magnificent Rhynchostylis orchids and a 2.5-metre high model albino elephant made of Rhynchostylis orchids which.
